You start with one city and a few units. Each turn you earn stars to spend on researching technologies, training units and upgrading your cities. Explore the map, found or conquer cities and meet the goal of the chosen mode (for example, dominate every rival or have the most points at the end). Tap a unit to see where it can move or attack, and press “End turn” when you're done.
Where is the tutorial?
The game offers it the first time you open it. You can replay it any time from Settings → Gameplay → Tutorial (▶ button).
How do I restore my purchases?
Go to Settings → Help & privacy → Restore purchases (or in New game, in the themes section). Make sure you use the same Apple ID you bought with. Premium themes never expire and can be restored on all your devices.
How does online mode work?
In New game → Online → Find a match we pair you with another person who is searching. In the lobby you each pick a civilization and vote on the map, mode and time per turn (1 minute, 3 minutes or 24 hours). If your votes differ, a coin toss decides between them. If your time runs out, the turn passes to your rival; missing 3 turns in a row loses the game. Your ongoing games are in “My games”.
Can I change my online name?
Yes. In Online, tap your profile and choose “Change name”. Names are generated at random (for example, “Wise Queen 17”): roll the dice until you find one you like. This way nobody can use offensive names.
How do I delete my online data?
In Online, tap your profile and choose “Delete my online data”. Your profile, stats, finished matches and anonymous account are deleted. You can also ask by email at mxquiero@gmail.com. More details in the privacy policy.
Online mode won't connect
Check your internet connection and try again with “Try again”. Games against the AI and Pass and play work offline.
